Colorado Judicial Institute Judicial Education Scholarships

CJI provides funding for the continuing education of Colorado's judges as one of its key programs, in the belief that a well-educated judiciary helps promote excellence in Colorado's courts.

Funding is supported in part by The Larry DeMuth Endowment for Judicial Education, which was created by longtime CJI board member and philanthropist Larry DeMuth.

Please complete the form below to apply for CJI judicial education scholarships. Scholarship requests are accepted year-round and are subject to CJI's funding guidelines. Scholarships are approved by the CJI Judicial Education Fund Committee in the first full two weeks of each quarter. Upcoming committee approval dates are October 6 through October 19, January 5 through January 18, April 6 through April 19, and July 6 through July 19. Please make sure you are applying well before the start of your conference or class and at least six weeks in advance.
