CJI Elects New Board Members, Honors Mark Fogg as Volunteer of the Year

Mark Fogg accepts CJI's Volunteer of the Year Award from Eric Hilty

May 29, 2025 — The Colorado Judicial Institute (CJI) held its Annual Meeting on May 29, and welcomed 12 outstanding new board members to its statewide efforts to promote excellence and public trust in Colorado’s courts. The event was generously hosted by Polsinelli PC in Denver.

CJI's new board members:

  • Jacob Burg – Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine
  • William Dewey – Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani
  • Anna Dove – Albertsons
  • Tess Hand-Bender – Davis Graham
  • John Hilkin – Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani
  • Eric Hobbs – Shook, Hardy & Bacon
  • Hon. Marques Ivey – 17th Judicial District, Adams County
  • Bailey Nelson – Griffiths Law
  • Deirdre Oss – Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher
  • Nick Richards – Greenspoon Marder
  • Luke Ritchie – Wheeler Trigg O'Donnell

CJI also re-elected the following board members to new terms: Nick DeWeese, Kelley Duke, Jeff George, Eric Hilty, Hon. Sueanna Johnson, Thor Nelson, Alexander Sediva, Michael Siebecker, Eliza Steinberg, Valorie Waldon, and Tom Werge.

In the highlight of the event, CJI honored Mark Fogg of Childs McCune as CJI’s Volunteer of the Year, recognizing his 20 years of service to CJI and 40 year career in Colorado's legal community. Thank you, Mark, for your unwavering commitment and leadership!
